The Labrador Retriever is a solid, muscular dog, slightly longer than tall, with a short, water-resistant double coat. They have a broad head and thick nose. Eyes are chestnut or hazel skin is black. The English Labrador version is heavier, thicker and stockier. with a calm temperament.
Labs are loving and affectionate. They’re loyal and want to please. They love water and are friendly with children and other dogs. They crave human attention and need to feel part of the family.
The dogs are easy to groom and usually live for 10-15 years. They love exercise everyday, but, if they get this, are fine for condo living. Training Is easy and fun with this breed.
